Meet Rae! Low-cost ($50-90) online counselling for anxiety, depression, stress, and body issues

Rae Slezak is completing her practicum for her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree with Yorkville University. Rae identifies as a white, mid-size, cisgendered woman. Rae utilizes an integrative approach that incorporates various psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioural approaches, such as Internal Family Systems, ACT, and attachment theory. Her practice is strength-based, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and is grounded in Health at Every Size (HAES) principles. Rae has a particular interest in working with those who struggle with disordered eating, anti-fat bias, body shame, anxiety, stress-management, and depression. She is gender and sexuality affirming and weight inclusive.

Outside of work, Rae can often be found listening to podcasts, walking or kayaking around the Peterborough area, playing Animal Crossing, reading, or watching some of her beloved TV shows like X Files and Supernatural.
