REFERRAL? Your insurance may require a doctor's note recommending therapy, however the Meilan Counselling Clinic doesn't require a referral for you to book appointments.
PAYMENT? Payment is required by the time of the appointment. Please send e-transfers to connect@meilan.ca.
FEES? Fees and appointment availabilities can be viewed through the online booking service. Phone, video, cancellation, consultation, assessment, and administrative fees are billed at the same hourly rate. Services with reduced fees provided by student therapists are available for people with financial hardship.
INSURANCE?
Fees for psychological services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist may be covered by your extended health plan. Please contact your insurance provider to confirm coverage.

Tell your therapist if you have prior approval for services through NIHB, CUPE/SCFP Employee EAP, or Medavie BlueCross for RCMP, Veterans Affairs, or Canadian Armed Forces.
LOCATION? The office is located in downtown Ottawa. Currently, all appointments are conducted online or over the phone.
